Art Improvement Challenge

This piece was done for the Art Improvement Challenge by DamaiMikaz !

My initial piece was the first full body piece for the year. I was trying out different pens and different lighting techniques, as well as challenging myself to draw something other than what I usually do, (its Bianca from Spyro) as i hadnt really done any animal esque people before. It was a big challenge for me but i was proud of how it turned out at the time! Since then I feel like I've come more into my own style.
This time around I focused on getting more subtle lighting and a more fluid pose which I really felt like I struggled with the first time round (those legs eugh). I also put effort into making an actual background despite being super bad at them because the only way to get better is to do it!! And I finally found a way to create an effect similar to her magic yay! This piece is more simple and subtle but I think it feels a lot more natural and more my style so I'm pretty happy with the results!
